The Ebola outbreak in the West African nations of Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Nigeria has killed nearly 1,500 people.

Wasn't this the total like a couple weeks ago?

Here’s the latest WHO report.

http://www.who.int/csr/don/2014_08_22_ebola/en/

“Between 19 and 20 August 2014, a total of 142 new cases of Ebola virus disease (laboratory-confirmed, probable, and suspect cases) as well as 77 deaths were reported from Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone.”

I'm thinking those numbers are a little over a week old. They were underestimated then and WHO does not have a clue on the spread. It is far worse than what is being reported.
