“Between 19 and 20 August 2014, a total of 142 new cases of Ebola virus disease (laboratory-confirmed, probable, and suspect cases) as well as 77 deaths were reported from Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone.”
There should already have been an update but it has lagged for some mysterious reason. Perhaps there is such an institutional breakdown in West Africa that the stats are now almost impossible to obtain. I mean how do you now count the Ebola stats in the West Point slum of Monrovia since it has been sealed off from the outside?
