As I posted waaaaay back, he’s going to use his pardon power to achieve by XO what he could not get by Congressional legislation. All he has to do is issue a blanket ‘pardon’ to all illegal aliens, just fill in the name and date.....................
He could also one day issue a blanket pardon to all blacks in jails and prisons across America. Who is going to stop him?
I never thought of that. I assumed he was just going to instruct Immigration, Border Patrol, etc. to go very easy on illegals.
Either way, the dems can argue that the move is legal, and falls within Obama's powers as president. The MSM will back that up.
What I don't see Obama doing is issuing blanket citizenships. That would be a bridge too far (for now).
They are still in the country illegal so a pardon hasn’t really done anything, they can still be deported.
