A Justice Department official admitted that former IRS official Lois Lerners apparently missing emails actually exist on a backup server, but the government doesnt plan to retrieve them.
A Department of Justice attorney told a Judicial Watch attorney on Friday that it turns out the federal government backs up all computer records in case something terrible happens in Washington and theres a catastrophe, so the government can continue operating, Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton told Fox News Shannon Bream.
But it would be too hard to go get lois lerners emails from that backup system, Fitton continued, paraphrasing the DOJ official. So, everything weve been hearing about scratched hard drives, about missing emails of Lois Lerner, other IRS officials, other officials in the Obama administration, its all been a pack of malarkey. They could get these records, but they dont want to.
Fitton said his group plans to ask a federal judge to order the IRS to hand over the emails, which conservative opponents of Lerner want to see in order to determine if there is a link between President Obamas team and the IRSs targeting of Tea Party groups.
If this backup system is working, Lois Lerners emails are there, Fitton said.
Just how stupid do they think we are ?
Unfortunately, stupid enough as a nation to have elected this bunch that makes a mockery of honesty and integrity
Personally, I vote for catch and release, one at a time, in a TV show to be titled "No place like Nome in December!" Of course, you'd have to use night-optics and IR (at least for a while) but the challenge would be EPIC!
Just one thought, would bikinis be too much, for all genders I mean?
I recommend Alcatraz. Fall is coming and it will be cold and dank there.
How about building a new prison camp for them all. Say at Lat 69.367581, lon -153.559135?
No guards required, solar power with ration/supply drops once per week as weather permits.
To be a little more specific on your great idea, see my post below yours
I am using all these excuses when I get audited. I done scratched my hard drives. I could find all that info in 10 minutes but it is too hard.
We think alike in geography my FRiend, but I like my idea (#22) better!
No, I don't know that. Neither do you.
By now they have been either altered or completely recreated per their desired story.
Reopen Alcatraz with no amenities, arrest the high criminal players, lock up, blow all pier and support areas, leave. Put up anti sub nets, mines, coastal AA around the bay, and a few dozen buried bunker buster in case of any mass personnel problems. No parole.
lolz
it certainly seems like it often enough
I think it could work! The details can come later, after they are all locked up and just after the trials. :p
Fine and jail all of them!
The chief enforcer of laws in US is Eric Holder.
Lerner will never go to jail while Holder is in charge.
Neither will any one else who could hurt democrats by spilling the beans. They are all protected by Holder/Obummer.
“DUH”
I just put this on fb with that exact wording.
I imagine the emails will finally appear...the day after the November elections....
So true, just like the video became a second story after the election....
In other words, what we have known all along - the emails are on the email servers and in the backups.
A subpoena is a subpoena. It doesn’t matter how “hard” it is to retrieve the documents, they’re obligated to retrieve them. Now if the ‘Pubbies would show some guts and start perp-marching Lerner and the rest out of the Capitol to a waiting Black Maria, we might get somewhere.
Fat chance. Oh, well.
Lock them up there and hold the trials by remote video to and from the site. There would be plenty of lawyers there to plead their cases.
I just sent it to the TrueTheVote FB page.
