I know people who are absolutely convinced were all going to die. As far as I know, most everyone does, sooner or later. Of what, how, and when are just the details, but there is pretty much a 100% chance of it.
Anthropogenic Global Warming is on my list of possibilities somewhere well below being struck by a meteorite while dancing the mamba.
