Securing the borders has to include stopping people from gaining by coming here illegally so:
Make it illegal to hire illegals.
Make it so illegals can’t go to school, get medical treatment, drive a care, vote, get government benefits.
Put people who are illegally present in our country in prison or at least make it illegal for anyone found illegally in our country to ever legally become a citizen.
Make legal immigration selections based on criteria other than a specific attempt to skew our countries demographic toward a particular political party.
Shut down all legal immigration when our unemployment rate goes above an acceptable level.
These are actually the kind of things any government typically does.
I would also do things like make public sector unions illegal but that’s a whole other topic.
On the illegal immigration.
Make them all take the citizenship test again and again and again until they can speak English, answer the questions and become a legal immigrant.
Until them no benefits — they must become a legal immigrant first.
In other words – stop the illegal invasion.
Obama wants to do the opposite and in fact make it worse – much, much worse… What does that say about him?
I think it already is. What you want is for them to enforce it.
