What compels, you ask, to make such a statement? A number of us have been shouting “The British are Coming” for a couple of decades now. Some longer. Meanwhile we see that the road from “here” to “there” keeps changing and the “there” that is possible becomes diminished almost exponentially. IMHO, and I am far from alone, the “there” we aspire to know isn’t even America we knew as children. In other words, what we are willing to fight for isn’t even achievable at this point. John Adams set the U.S. on solid footing when he advocated taking on the Ten Million in debt that existed from before there was a U.S. This was a huge cornerstone that wet our “house on rock” for two centuries. We are currently encumbered with $17 Trillion that has already been spent and IOUs for hundreds more. The Biblical admonition against the sins of the father come to mind but in our case it is grandchildren’s grandchildren. None of the forks in the road lead to where we would like to go. NONE.

As long as you believe all that, then no, it is not possible. That is the precise mechanism of defeat and surrender, and you are well within the grasp of that black hole of a mindset.

Go to your oblivion if you must, but please don't beckon to other good patriots to cross that event horizon with you.

Oh really? The freedom Adams, Madison, Hamilton, Jay and several thousands of colonial soldiers and militia members fought for never existed before their lives, either. It existed only in the writings of Montesquieu, Hobbes, Locke, Plato, etc. So how did they achieve a Free Republic when it had never exited? Answer: they just did it. They didn't make excuses.

Yes, we Dawg Soldiers are quite aware that you're far from alone. We have our work cut out for us.

I know what you mean, I look around and see an upside down bizarro world and wonder if it is even salvageable

after a lifetime of being beat down, I sometimes have a fantasy daydream of going down in a blaze of glory as a "terrorist" AKA minuteman patriot lone wolf militia (how about that for keywords NSA)

but no, ill just keep working until they Obamacare me as theyll just keep raising the retirement age and send me bills for Fire prevention fees, or Amnesty Coverage Tax, or Riot Suppression Supplemental Tax or whatever until the turnip is bled dry and blows away like a tumbleweed in Harry Reids back yard
