The West Borough Baptist Church nearly made a journey to Iraq to protest against IS, after taking up an offer from comedian Adam Hills to fly the anti-gay hate group to the war torn country.
The Australian comic made his pledge on his show The Last Leg, on Channel 4 last Friday after the church vowed to picket the funeral of Robin Williams, who they labelled a fag pimp.
He told members of the controversial church to put your money where your mouth is and offered to fly them to Iraq so they could protest against the killing of Christians by Islamic State militants.
Ill even fly them first class and pay the carbon offset, he said.
We accepted! Whence tickets? @PhilCooke: An offer to fly WBC members 2 Iraq 2 protest. Sounds like good idea to me:

On last nights show Hills informed viewers that since making the announcement he has been contacted by many people who say they will contribute money towards flying West Borough Baptist Church members to Iraq.
However after a week of WBC attacking Hills and posting abusive images directed at Muslims on Twitter, he opted to take the high road and decided instead to donate all the money raised for the flights to St Jude Childrens Research Hospital, a charity Robin Williams was a supporter of.
The comedian said he wanted to spread love instead of hate through the donation, which was made in the name of the late actor.
I just donated to Remembering Robin Williams: A Benefit For St Jude. Please donate to this amazing cause here: crowdrise.com/honorrobin/fun

There, there. *patpat*
Some day, my FRiend. Some day.
Punked by WBC Neanderthals. Now that’s gonna leave a mark!
“Hey! If you do ‘A’, I’ll do ‘B’.”
“OK.”
“Never mind.”
“Homo.”
That’s the transcript!
‘Fag pimp’ seems a little harsh. Isn’t that what they called that crazy cut-up Robin Wiliams?
If the Westboro church fields a softball team, those must be some wild games! They’re playing Grace Lutheran, with Grace on the field, their pitcher going into his windup—and the Westboro boys in the dugout yelling, calling him a fag and pimp and so forth.
Huh? Huh? Huh Andy? Huh? Huh Andy? Huh? Huh?
What does it say about me that - had I donated $$$ to WBC’s flight - I’d want it refunded now that the cause has changed? Hey dude, all I want is what I [would have] paid for!
Seems reasonable to me.
They probably think that G-d hates softball too.
He had to call it off. No doubt money was FLYING in from everywhere, Big Money! The members of that so called ‘church’ should not be depended on. What if they took the tickets, cashed them in and made a movie, about all the wicked people in the world’ instead. Maybe they would call the movie “The Non-Innocence Of The Falsified Christian Man”. Susan Rice would quickly blame the upcoming ISIS attack on that there movie.
*gently weeps*
Headline is a bit misleading. From the article it sounds like the church accepted the offer and was willing to go but the comic backed down. It’s not clear why.
Given that Metro couldn't spell "Westboro" correctly, I'm not surprised.
While I find Adam Hills amusing at times he is a real leftie - pro-gay, pro-everything left. The Westboro people do more for the leftie agenda that any “Christian” group in any country in the world - lefties use them as the straw front men for conservative Christians. Sounds like Hills wimped out!
It was a silly idea, IS already persecutes gays as they wish they could, and in any case, their real agenda is to get injured at a picket or have their ‘freedom of expression’ violated so they can sue the authorities for lots of money.
Some people do think that the WBC is a false-flag operation by the Left. I don’t dismiss the possibility.
There’s a price on their heads now.
Let’s see them take on the muzzies.
Cowards.
This is very sad. I was really looking forward to their protest.
Would there movie be played their in Syria/Iraq?
