U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan said Thursday he would love to see Mitt Romney run again for president and teased the GOPs former nominee at one point that the third times the charm.
Appearing with Ryan at a public event for the first time since their ticket lost two years ago, Romney offered his own good-humored praise by saying that Ryan wouldnt be a bad president himself.
Ryan, R-Wis., has said he will wait until after the midterm elections to decide whether to pursue his own presidential campaign in 2016. Romney has repeatedly denied any plans for another campaign for president. He failed to win the nomination in 2008 and then lost the election to President Barack Obama in 2012.

Two of a kind. Bad & worse.
Ryan seems more and more RINOish every day...
I’d like to see them both run............run right over to the registrar of voters and switch over to the party they are most philosophically aligned with, the democrat party. No more RINOS!
Better than what is in there now. Duval Patrick
and Hillary may be the competition. I am betting
Some conservatives will stay home because of Romney. They did it last times and assisted Obama and Biden .
It’s good that we at least know now who Ryan is. For a while there the GOPe somehow had people convinced he was a conservative hero.
Do they want the Republicans to lose again?
Surely, there are two individuals out there worthy to be President and Vice President of the United States of America besides having to even consider these two yahoos. It is downright depressing what we have representing us in the congress.
It sounds like Ryan don’t care much about the future of America.
Could be. It’s easier to be in the minority and just complain than it is to actually govern.
I doubt Mitt is running. Ryan might. We can do better than these 2. Ted Cruz comes to mind.
Romney could have just spoken the truths about Obama loud and clear and Romney would have won. He had his chance and he blew it.
The fact that Mitt is surprised that the lyin’ king is such loser is very telling. If Mitt wasn’t astute enough to recognize the asshat for what he is after watching him for 4 years the he ain’t astute enough to take his place.
I've no doubt the Thuglicants will find someone of the caliber of Awful Dull, or Juan Mc Lame to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory by rolling over and playing dead on the campaign trail again.

Ryan is corrupt. His policy positions scream “Bribes!”
If he thinks he has a chance at the WH, he is mentally ill.
Probably your last chance:
5. Work real hard to get a conservative elected
4. Chile
3. Belize
2. Singapore
1. Uruguay
Any "assistance" rendered Obama and Biden by refusing to assist liberalism in the Republican party, is limited entirely to consequence, water rushing into a void. Bigger, lefter government in both parties (when the Republican party moves left, the Democrats move lefter) would have resulted either way.
Same results, different path -- one incidental, leaving conservatism intact (Obama), the other an active choice to push, out of blind fear of the consequences of not doing so, in the direction of leftism (Romney) using conservatism's only source of power as its vehicle.
A person can vote for that if they want to tell themselves that if they didn't, they'd have "assisted" Obama, but at the end of the day, a vote for Romney was a vote for leftism. If that's not assisting leftism, I don't know what is.
I think that for the 2016 Presidential contest, America's only chance will be a third-party breakout that will help Republicans in Congress choose sides; if a new limited government party really is necessary to replace the Republicans, only then is a "third" party needed in the big picture. But when Romney loses, moderate Republicans everywhere lose; if he wins, moderate Republicans in Congress gain over limited government conservative Republicans.
I dream of Cruz or Palin being the maverick or rogue "Independent" candidate, a limited government candidate. Neither the Republican nor the Democrat party offer any alternative to more and bigger government, and Americans are sick of government.
Chances are about 99.99 percent sure that the GOP primary protocol is already guaranteed to produce Romney or a RINO nominee. IF that happens, then Americans are going to be screaming for a real choice, though the MSM will be entirely deaf.
