I don’t really care if I won or not. I just know that if I were captured by Jihadists and made into a sex slave, I would kill myself and take as many of them with me as I could.
This alleged Freeper was advocating paying the ransom. That, of course, is just what they want, and would finance further kidnappings.
I will not be like that deserter that was ransomed with five Gitmo terrorists. I could not live with myself, and I don’t know how that guy can.
Anyway, I don’t like debate. I would not do well on a debating team, because no one is going to change by anything I have to say, and I certainly have no intention of changing my most deeply held beliefs because of somebody’s argument, so why argue? It just raises my blood pressure.
Winning an argument is not high on my list of priorities right now.
It was unpleasant. I didn’t ask for the argument, and now i am unhappy about getting embroiled in it. (sigh)
