I hope he does run for president..not much of a choice so far at least there is no one I have seen I would vote for..Except for Sarah Palin..

I think Perry gets out of this mess...but here in Texas, the commentaries are that two other DA’s were caught intoxicated, but Perry didn’t threaten them or asked for their resignation (Republican DA’s). The other item is that the drunk DA in this instance was about to investigate an organization that had several ties to Rick Perry and some of his friends. When she got caught with DWI, they say Perry took advantage of this situation to defund her office and roles to reduce/stop the investigation. May be hard to connect the dots for a conviction, but in essence, that is the Liberal’s reasoning for Perry trying to get rid of her.

Perry did the same...maybe even better.
The other 2 drunk DAs were not head of the Public Integrity Unit. Gov Perry defunded the Public integriy Unit not the DAs office. He was indicted for telling her that was what he would do (threats to a public official_) not for actually defundung the unit.
I understand the difference...but his opponents will not differentiate. Agree that this is totally political, but Perry will struggle through this. His best hope is for a quick dismissal. If it actually goes to trial, they will be able to draw some blood even though they may not be successful in getting a full conviction.
But this is funny how it appeared to come out of no where....Something set this off, I believe from the Federal level.
I think Missouri state officials should arrest Holder when he steps in to the state for trying to incite a riot.
Perry is smiling, but his eyes aren’t. Those eyes are steely with resolve. There’s a glint in them thar eyes. Go get em, Rick.

Rick Perry is not a serious candidate for POTUS.
Unless he runs as a Democrat.
