A federal appeals court has set a Nov. 13 date to hear oral arguments in Rep. Charles Rangels lawsuit against his House colleagues, who censured the New York Democrat in 2010.
Mr. Rangel has argued the House failed to give him due process when it investigated and voted to censure him, and he is seeking to have the smear expunged.
His case has already been rejected by a federal district court, which said he didnt have standing to sue and, even if he did, the court wouldnt touch what was an internal House matter, better left as a political question.

Rangel the Rat should probably be in jail for tax evasion, censure pales in comparison.

LEAVE CHARLIE ALONE!!!

There is no due process. Co-equal branches.
Each chamber makes its own rules. The court has no role in internal House matters.

You're right, except Scotus disagreed in 1969.
The Warren court determined another black demagogue scumbag, Rangel's predecessor, from Harlem by the name of Adam Clayton Powell could not be turned out of the House.
The situation was not identical to Rangel's, who was not denied a House seat.
Powell v McCormack.
