FERGUSON, Mo. Michael Brown, the unarmed black teenager who was killed by a police officer, sparking protests around the nation, was shot at least six times, including twice in the head, a preliminary private autopsy performed on Sunday found.
One of the bullets entered the top of Mr. Browns skull, suggesting his head was bent forward when it struck him and caused a fatal injury, according to Dr. Michael M. Baden, the former chief medical examiner for the City of New York, who flew to Missouri on Sunday at the familys request to conduct the separate autopsy. It was likely the last of bullets to hit him, he said.
Mr. Brown, 18, was also shot four times in the right arm, he said, adding that all the bullets were fired into his front.
-----snip---
Mr. Johnson said that he hid behind a parked car and that Mr. Brown was struck by a bullet in his back as he ran away, an account that Dr. Badens autopsy appears to contradict.

Who is this Mr. Johnson?
Diane Sawyer just now said (8-18 news) just said the only way he could have a wound on his head is if he were on the ground surrendering. Wow, hateful, commie witch.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
That’s totally irresponsible journalism. Sawyer wants to be careful. She may end up in jail herself for fomenting insurrection.
They’ll do autopsies until they get it twisted to what they want.
WAs Dorian Johnson is guy with Brown at the store robbery?
yep
Thank you, Hulka, for taking the time to post back to me.
And thanks for the video too - I watched it twice and learned a lot from “Myth 3” - that is, a person can move 31 feet in the time it takes an officer to draw and fire. That’s like, two blinks!! It helped my perspective a lot, since the stated distance between Brown and the officer was 35 feet or so. I don’t think most people realize just how fast a running attacker can move - I know I didn’t.
Coincidentally today, on my second time through the video, and watching the ‘why shoot a man with a knife’ segment, there was a knife-related shooting near Ferguson. After having viewed the lightening-quick demonstration of just how fast a slash and cut can occur, and how many slashes per second, again, I had very (stunned, but) good understanding of what situation those officers were in today when facing someone with a knife. They were pretty brave if they let that person get 4 feet from them, as rumoured.
Coupled with your post itself, I have a much better understanding of how quickly situations can deteriorate and how Brown may have reacted in his situation to a man who was coming at him, after having attacked him minutes before. Thanks again for a great teaching moment!! I really appreciate you taking the time to show the wider perspective.
Thanks, Cherokee1.
I didn’t know that the officer’s injuries were that bad - all we peons heard was he had a punched or ‘swollen’ face from a struggle. I can’t imagine how much pain he was in.
You probably get that I wasn’t thinking Wilson was a bad shot in a ‘bad’ way, but in a good way i.e., ‘trying not to kill this idiot kid, why doesn’t he stop’ way. I guess I was exploring whether to quietly pin the hero ribbon on Wilson that he did try to discourage Brown’s charge, before he had to drop him. But you guys are all shooting me down on this itch, so I’ll keep that thought to myself as events found in Roy Rogers movies, and just be satisfied that Wilson thankfully lived to tell the tale. If he’d gotten punched again in a busted eyesocket...well... I’m very, very glad he’s alive.
I take no chances and use snakeshot on rattlers. Close works, and a good thing too, because those suckers do get my adrenaline pumping - and fast! There is no way I’d be able to take out a snake’s head with a single slug - they move wayyy too fast! After reading your post and some other posts, I realize now that people can be just as fast and just as hard to hit.
Thanks very much for the reply. And, thanks, for doing what you do, or did, or still do lol. Take care!!
I sincerely thank you for the kind words.
