It sounds like science fiction, but it seems that bacteria within us - which outnumber our own cells about 100-fold - may very well be affecting both our cravings and moods to get us to eat what they want, and often are driving us toward obesity.

Yep. I've read stories about reductions of allergies... even milk allergies, because of such products.
We don't have a lot of access to raw milk around here, but the yogurt you spoke of and keifer sound very similar. What I use is just a freeze-dried & reconstituted version of the little 'grains' that are produced in fermented milk.

Candida is a terrible issue for me. I keep it in check with a real food diet and tons of probiotics.

Good to know the probiotics work for you.
I’ll use medication out of absolute necessity but otherwise avoid it. I do take dietary supplements, however.
I attempt to take one capsule each day, but I can’t tell what impact it’s having.
Is that your gut feeling?

That is one of the great things about FR! Information from like minded people.
At first I took a swig of Kefir every time I passed the refrig. Now I drink 1/2 cup in the AM before food and 1/2 cup at night before I go to bed. Works like a charm. :)
I still take it VERY easy on the wheat products.

I now use raw milk in my coffee. The butter-fat content is so high, it tastes better than half-n-half.
