In March, the Senate filibustered Obamas pick to be the nations top civil rights lawyer because of election-year politics and whats happening in Missouri is unlikely to change that.
The Department of Justices Civil Rights Division, which has been tasked by Attorney General Eric Holder to help lead an investigation into the shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, has been without a confirmed leader since July 2013.
And because of Congressional gridlock and election-year politics, its likely that the civil rights department will not get a confirmed assistant attorney general any time soon.

Good, the Civil Rights Div of DOJ has been the most corrupted division in the Department, esp. with Perez at its head.
The only one more corrupt is Holder.
Less heads, more justice because the honest people can do their jobs without political commissars directing them.
Their job is to fuel the flames of racial hate, burn the policeman, and give the Brown family grounds for a few million in reparations wealth redisribution.

Bingo. They fly in and spread money around to support the activists who rile up the crowds.
