An ever-increasing number of states adopting some form of legalized homosexual marriage is the contemporary revival of the age-old question, which came first, the chicken or the egg? The modern version of this question is, are states legalizing gay marriage because more Americans are in favor of it, or, are more Americans in favor of it because states are legalizing it?
With state after state in the USA adopting some form of legalized homosexual marriage it would be easy to reach the conclusion that times are changing and American values are shifting in the direction of acceptance of homosexual union. While there is some movement in public perceptions the answer to the question is well, yes and no. Yes, there is a shift among Americans toward gay marriage but certainly not all Americans. In fact this shift is taking place among a very tiny fraction of American citizens. One such individual is Richard L. Young.
Mr. Young is a U.S. District Court Judge in Indiana who struck down the states constitutional definition of marriage (as voted upon by the majority if residents of the state) as being between one man and one woman. No, Americans in general are not screaming for gay marriage. Yes, some Americans are moving in the direction of legalized same-sex marriage, it so happens that the citizens who seem most in favor of redefining marriage are known by a single word -- judges.
While it probably is true that perceptions are slowly shifting among the populace en masse, such tidal changes typically take decades if not generations to show up as legislative changes, let alone constitutional ones. The wave of states legalizing same-sex marriage unions is not the result of shifting values in America, it is the result of amazingly resilient and determined activists

More states are adopting it because single corrupt and extreme leftist robed tyrants are making them.
If and when the first attempt fails they file an appeal and try again. And again. And again. These lawsuits run up through the court system until finally landing on the desk of a judge sympathetic to the cause.
In most cases, the states are not adopting same-sex marriage. It is being imposed upon them by leftist judges.
"Gay Marriage" is more accepted now because a large percentage of people believe whatever it is they see on TV. Despite that gay marriage has mostly become legal due to activist judges, not people "changing their minds" (really having their minds changed due to propaganda).

Liberal judges are forcing queer marriage on the states, the states and their residents aren’t doing it!
There is a “root cause” that goes back years before “gay marriage” ever hit the scene. Gay marriage is just the latest blow to an institution, marriage, that has been being undermined since at least the 1960s. People’s attitudes toward committing to a marriage for life and remaining faithful have changed immensely since then. Sex before marriage, quick no-fault divorces, living together, adultery, teenage sex — people started accepting all these things and then the law accomodated them.
So if we claim that gay marriage is something unique, we are fooling ourselves. Society can’t have a definition of marriage that allows for someone to fly to Vegas, get married while drunk by Elvis, then get divoced a week later, and say that its some sacred institution that should not be undermined by gay marriage. If we want to stop gay marriage, we have to stop all the other body-blows to marriage too.
Gay Marriage is the logical and natural product of the Pill.

‘Probably true?’ All anyone has to do is look up the results of the marriage amendments that were passed by popular vote, how much they were passed by and when, what other states voted by around the same time and what region. Anyone can do this. It’s not super slow tidal changes. Actual voting trends by states and voters from 1998 on, not opinion polling.

Also the conditioning of many to think that marriage is defined by the state and is just a mutable contract that can be broken and resumed between any parties the state accepts. What the state accepts is determined simply by whatever judges, pols, or the voting majority accept at any one time. That’s all marriage has ever been to the state in the modern era.

God invented marriage, not man. God designated marriage, not as a contractual agreement, but as a covenant.
Governments may be able to regulate contracts, but a covenant is based on the laws of God and not man. Thus
marriage is an institution outside of the bounds of government.
It is time to get government out of the marriage business and to return it to the private sphere. The
problem for me today is that people who want to call themselves married against Gods law (as I read it)
are willing to use the State to force me to recognize that marriage, which I cannot do. The want to have the
States public education system indoctrinate my children that homosexual marriage is normal. They want to
force me to subsidize the homosexual marriage in the tax code just like the godly marriage is subsidized, and
they will use state agencies to punish me for “discrimination” if I decline to accept their status in any
way.
If the State must force me to acknowledge its power to declare two men to be “married”, then I must support
efforts to remove that power from the State. If people who don’t want God defining their personal morality
demand a separation of church and State then let us also have separation of marriage and State as well. If
those people don’t want any displays of the Ten Commandments in government buildings, they cannot hide behind
the Commandments that protect marriage when it comes to “marriage” that God cannot and will not sanction.
When our society let the word “gay” become a noun, we lost. It then became a civil rights issue. Even many Catholics although supporting traditional marriage, use the term “gay.” It takes longer to phrase it as “same sex attraction” but that’s what I try to do.
As long as the states are not represented in the senate, there is no need at all for judges to look over their shoulders and wonder if an article of impeachment is headed their way.
Neither. More Americans are in favor of it because of the way homosexuality has been normalized in pop culture. The states are legalizing it because the homos are loud and active, therefore legislators think they're the majority opinion.
In both cases, we conservatives are being outplayed every direction by the minority. Get off your a**es and do something, America!

Human population(s) increased naturally, with good food supplies, favorable environment, medical care and civil protections. Populations have declined or been decimated by tribal/territorial wars, famine, disease and destructive natural disasters (fire, volcanoes, weather, floods,etc.,).
Humans, with the guidance of God in their lives became creative in many endeavors; most directed towards improving daily life, labor and protecting future generations.
Sadly, experimentation with creating, preventing, aborting and destroying human life within ‘science’ laboratories has diminished the reverence for God's original blueprint...human procreation between a man and a woman.
The parental protection for children of natural, spiritual unions is being diminished by sperm & egg donors and rental wombs in order that homosexuals can ‘own’ children and pretend its normal. Is this the way the human race ends?? No heterosexual couples willing to give birth to children whose future will be controlled or dominated by heathens??
Yep. That and gutless governors and attorney general offices are unwilling to challenge them. Such was the case here in Pennsylvania.
