CNN is supposed to be news, this is history.
The left have always ensured to let blacks think that cops are out to kill them.
This is yet another example of the left using this to get out their base and votes.
The media is fixated on the racial make up of the police force there but I want to know whose fault it is. I doubt they’re going out of their way to hire only white cops. Apparently considerably fewer blacks go into law enforcement.
Even in Detroit the racial mix of the police department doesn’t match the demographics of the city. 63% of officers are black, 34% are white and 3% are Hispanic/other races.
I also keep hearing a bunch of whining that there are no blacks on the city council. Again, whose fault is that?
I was surprised. Most of the comments defended the police and criticized the looters.
Yep and now Rand Paul is trying to borrow a tactic from their playbook. Sad to see that some of the people here, who should know better, are falling for it.
“Poisoned relationship between police and minorities”
They should specify that it is one particular minority group, not minorities in general.
