My Name is Earl also did a show about living in a store.
Was a fictional store but from the interior you could tell it was Big Lots.

Really? I’m currently watching all episodes of “Earl” on Netflix. I’m still in Season 1. I’ll be looking for that show later....

Reminds me of a Far Side description of a mall where an entire community evolves. They develop their own language to communicate among them, involving store names (”Starbucks macys sears, starbucks starbucks victoria Secret!”)
