Of all the things that are disturbing over this cultural onslaught, not mentioning the political, the Brits giving over this way...
Years ago, well, in the first gulf thingy, the desert storm, we were there with the Brits. We were told, those guys? oh, they’re British, what, oh, commandos.
Bad ass.
My then spouse to be had stories of these guys. Legends.
Then, later, in USAFE, we had friends from British military. Sigh. Just exemplary gents and outstanding and respected military.
And I’m Irish ancestry, with a bit of a jaundice regarding them vis a vis the Eire.
Some years ago, hub was schmoozing the neighbor, also a MPs guy in charge of assignments to USAFE. He wanted to return. Mildenhall.
I said, the place is Muslim. We went elsewhere.

In WWII Germany sent rockets into London as a terror weapon that was directed against not military targets but the civilian population.
In 2014 Gaza sent rockets into Israel also directed at the civilian population.
In 1945 the RAF burned Dresden Germany to the ground with an estimated toll of 35,000-135,000 deaths, mostly civilian. We really do know know how many died and 70,000 would be a reasonable guess. If you use the same logic The United Kingdom should now go to Dresden and apologize for over reacting to the rockets that Hitler sent to London.

Had a former boss and her hubby who were ex British Army when I lived there. Loved them to bits. The general populace (as is here) who have been ‘tabloidized’ and believed everything the anti-American BBC churned out, I had no time for.
I expect the same from the administration in the US in the not too distant future.
In the end, if the world wants to appease muslims by pushing Israel into a corner in such a way, I will not be surprised that the end result will be thermonuclear.
