Amazing how a deep Red State will elect a Democrat!
Sebelius was a two termer there.
Not so sure how “red” it is....
Here in MA, we will occasionally elect a republican. Only problem though, under the skin they are 'Rat.
That’s why I’m not so sure that the Republicans will take the Senate.
Kansas is not Deep Red. It is Deep Republican, but that’s not the same thing. Many Kansas Republicans are more than happy to vote for a Democrat, especially when they think that the Republican candidate is too conservative. Jayhawkers were and are Republican, but were never conservative.
We’ll elect a Dem to statewide office once in a while, so long as that office is in Topeka. Sending Dems to Washington is another matter. We have cast our Electoral votes for the Republican since 1968. We haven’t elected a Dem Senator since 1932.
Red is Communist. Of course a “RED” state would elect a Democrat. Kansas ain’t Red.
