FERGUSON, MO The FBI on Monday launched a civil rights investigation into the fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager by a police officer, an incident that has set off days of unrest in this St. Louis suburb and pushed the question of racial fairness again to the forefront of American life.
Michael Brown, a college-bound 18-year-old, was shot and killed Saturday in this small, predominantly African American city after an apparent confrontation with police officers. His death immediately inspired both solemn vigils and angry protests, which in recent days have left some stores looted, buildings burned and shattered glass in the streets. At least 32 people have been arrested for looting.
Demonstrations showed no sign of abating Monday.
He was a good boy. He didnt deserve none of this. None of it, said Browns father, Michael Brown Sr., who was one of more than two dozen friends and family members at an afternoon news conference at the Jennings Mason Temple church near St. Louis. We need justice for our son.(continued)

they’re just getting theirs...
Okay, bring in the guard. Lock and load.
Cops using rubber bullets on crowd
i agree. one way ticket anywhere back to africa, and us citizenship gone once you take that ticket.
I think that's because they are trying to get everything put together. PLUS, their police department is in the middle of a LARGE SCALE RIOT, so they've been busy.
Good shoot? Thugcop execution?
I have been following this case closely, and best guess is that it's a little of both.
Why are the facts being hidden?!
If one side or the other is hiding facts, it's always because they have something to hide. Again, it is not clear which side is doing so. I know the police have the cell phone videos that some of the residents took. Whether any of it proves anything is another story, as another smart poster on FR reminded me. I think if and when any video is released, then we will know.
“Apparently agitators are telling the yuts to travel outside the black areas.”
Anyone living near that area, arm your selves. Co-ordinate with neighbors, if possible.
Are they deploying other “less than lethals” like gas, tasers and horse patrols?
Just curious. I’m in the business.

No way . . . they are “ALL” OBAMA voters. Do you really think the Department of Injustice is going to investigate or prosecute any of the black rioters? They are bros and sisters of ERIC HOLDER.
Del Mar loop being shut down
Tear gas is already on the streets. Saw footage.
I started a “RIOT NIGHT 2” thread but FR pulled it.
It’s always amazing that rioting thugs aren’t shot sooner. Are honest people afraid of the pedants in the media and the thugs in the Democrat Party? Are they too stupid to own guns (especially if they live in or near a county which votes for Democrats)? Do they still naively trust in police to actually be efficient?
It’s also a disgrace that cops are eager to shoot innocent animals, but never the savage animals.
But NO investigation of the murdered Rabbi in Miami, 2 days after a swastika and Hamas were written on his synagogue.
I don’t know whether the cop is guilty or not, but it doesn’t matter, Holder’s folks will convict him with the help of Al’s folks.
Pass a new law “Resisting arrest is now legal (if you’re black)”. That oughta fix it.
Maybe while the FBI’s down in Missouri they can take a look at the destruction around St. Louis and ask themselves, “Is it really worth all our time looking for a ‘lone wolf’ conservative when young blacks are destroying a city?
Or the FBI can ask: “How many cities have been destroyed by Tea Party members? How many building burned by Republicans?” Then they can ask themselves if maybe it’s time to ‘get real’...
That’s what Lincoln planned to do, which is why he was killed.
Evidently, there is no such place as Chicago.
per provided link two young black males are being sought ... http://www.miamiherald.com/2014/08/09/4280988/two-men-sought-in-fatal-shooting.html ... one left on a bicycle the other on foot, per report.
