Bill Gates doesn’t slum it when it comes to his vacations.
The world's richest man has been photographed enjoying quality family time aboard an extravagant $330 million yacht.
The Microsoft founder has been pictured on “The Serene,” a stunning 450-foot boat he’s renting from Stolichnaya vodka magnate Yuri Scheffler for a cool $5 million per week.
Moored off the coast of Sardinia, it reportedly has 12 state rooms, a seawater swimming pool, a cinema, a nightclub, a climbing wall, a gym and two hot tubs.

Amazing what you can buy when you lie to Congress that there aren’t enough qualified American engineers to do computer work for market wages and import cheap Indian labor.

Only two hot tubs. Come on, you can do better than that. Each stateroom should have it’s own hot tub, with jacuzzi jets all around. What a cheapskate.

If I was worth 50 billion I’d live in a 3,000 sq foot home,drive a $100K car,wear a Casio watch,eat at McDonald’s (and occasionally Ruth’s Chris) and vacation,in January,on the west coast of Florida.
I think it has a couple of submarines.
I went out on a friend’s 16’ Boston Whaler once. It had a seawater pool, too. Jump over the side and the pool was huge.
But where to go during the hot, muggy summers in the South? Mt. Desert Island? Big Sur? French Riviera?
Is the point of this article penis envy, I mean class envy? Oh look the rich man can afford an extravagant vacation. I don’t give a rats a$$ about Gates’s extravagant vacation, like him or not he built his company. Where are the new York Daily News’s reports on the Obama’s extravagant vacations on the taxpayers dime? Oh that’s right it wouldn’t fit the liberals agenda of class envy!

You'd need another home and autos for your security detail. When someone is worth $50 billion, the whole world knows who you are, and you have to do things to protect your person, family and money that we peons can't imagine.
