ST. LOUIS • City police officers called after a violent domestic dispute in July were dispatched to the wrong address while the attacker returned and shot two people dead, officials said Friday.

I am speculating too why the miscommunication occurred. Did the person who called in speak in English or was it some sort of dialect like Ebonics? That may sound racist, but it does need to be discussed.
I once had a black women come into the medical lab to have some blood drawn. She had two little girls with her, and when she spoke to them, it was totally unrecognizable as English. Add that fact to the stress anyone calling 911 would be under, and it could be that miscommunication happened.
