Arizona authorities arrest suspected Mexican drug cartel members

Sheriff's deputies in Arizona have arrested eight men charged with being scouts for Mexican drug cartels and using hilltop lookouts to monitor drug shipments and illegal immigrants being smuggled through the border area, authorities say.

[The Pinal County Sheriff's Office said in a statement] "The scouts would use the high vantage locations on hilltops and mountains and communicate with the guides and members of the Mexican drug cartels to let them know when law enforcement was in the area," the statement said. "They communicated by using cell phones and digitally encrypted radios."

This is an ongoing story. These spotters have been there off and on for years. PCSO, Border Patrol and Park Service usually has one or two sweeps annually. (That we hear about)
Back in 2010 a Phoenix TV station sent a young reporterette to do a story on the spotters. She and her cameraman trekked up in the Sawtooth mountains, with her doing a pretty neat travelogue about the rugged trails and caves up there. Then they came around a blind corner and SHAZAM! There stood a cave dwelling drug spotter. Poor girl needed a fresh pair of underdrawers. But the Camera guy kept filming so they had the story on the late news. Maybe, in my opinion the best news story ever.

US govt factotums better get cracking and start doling out public housing, food stamps, health services, SS checks for those needing "asylum". Start handing out those govt checks for each identitiy:

UI, SSI, Workmen's Comp,

TANF (temporary assistance to needy families),

WICS (food assistance),

subsidized Section 8 shelter,

ObamaPhone subsidies,

Utility Assistance subsidies,

School breakfasts/lunches/snacks subsidies,

$5000 a year EITC checks per identity.

Who cares if they falsify apps for EBT cards---claiming "need" ....buying food here w/ our tax dollars then shipping it back to their homelands where the relatives sell it on the streets for cash.

And there's the sub-prime mtg game---flipping the house for a big profit---then skipping town---leaving the banks holding the bag.
