I think you may be right. The MSM is concentrating on Senate races because of the anticipation of the Pubbies picking up 6 seats to take over the Senate.
Another thing that is not really being reported that I read on FR yesterday is the Tea Party is winning in at least some state races. Apparently there was some movement in MI and a Tea Party candidate (if not outright TP, at least leaning that way) may win the US Rep seat for a district in eastern WA state, now held by Doc Hastings, who is retiring.
While we all would like to see more Senators in the mold of Sessions, Cruz and Lee, that might not come right away - if conservatives are taking over seats and positions in local and state offices, and perhaps in the House, that will be a big help at least as a start IMHO.
Did anyone else notice that the beginning and ending margin of victory (number of votes separating the two) remained almost the same all night?
