"Our objectives in Iraq were to remove Saddam and replace him with a less aggressive government",

Of course, we would be greeted with flowers, oil would pay for it all and the new government would be friendly to us and our allies. Actually we didn't know the territory and screwed up royally. We should have stayed at home.

It’s like our car broke down and we’re addressing it through a tire change.

The U.S.A. won WWI and WWII for Europe....

BUT Europe(UK) lost the Cold War.. and quite quickly as well..
Soon as the Cold War started Europe(UK) quickly began adopting Socialists ideas and ideals..

They started the slow degradation to Russian Communism..
Which “IS” socialism.. Democracy is indeed Mob Rule.. by mobsters..

Monarchy vs. Democracy is just Mob Rule.. different MOBs..
The UK has always had Mob Rule.. know nothing else..
Like Russia and China..

Democracy is the road to socialism. -Karl Marx

Democracy is indispensable to socialism.
The goal of socialism is communism. -V.I. Lenin

The meaning of peace is the absence of opposition to socialism .-Karl Marx

Iraqi Christians have all 'known' the risk of remaining in a volatile region.....and tribal wars have been going on there for centuries...so it's not like this is anything new. We should not get involved in this now....let the Arab countries handle their own.

"The last war we won was WWII. To win the war, you have to win the peace."

That's right. The "peace" is "won" during the war. In your correct example/assessment of WWII, we DESTROYED the country of our enemies, breaking them of their will to fight on. They SURRENDERED on our terms, we went in, they laid down their arms, and we ruled their countries for a few years while helping them rebuild. The Emperor of Japan answered to General MacArthur. The Japanese people respected MacArthur, because he treated them firmly but with fairness/dignity.

I don't know what the facts were on the ground, but we might have seriously screwed up in Iraq early on by breaking up their existing military. They could have actually HELPED us once it was clear Saddam was out of power.(they probably liked him about as much as we did)

They respected Mac because they knew he would destroy them if they didn’t. Same with the German’s.

Worse then that...we’re changing that tire on a car that isn’t ours.

“Europe” has always been disparate from the UK, but the influence from “Europe” always crept back in. Also, remember the Willy Brandt scandal?

Much of the US Constitution has a basis in English Common Law. “Mob rule”?

Whatever they do they were always in danger and remained in the danger zone...which IS the entire Middle East.

ISIS is empowered no thanks to the Iraq Army deadbeats who bugged out at the get go. As well it’s governance who could care less about people dying.

We keep trying to change these countries yet they always revert back to their heathenism....because that is what THEY want.

True but the FLAW in English Common Law is...
LACK of restraint on central givernment..
Central Givernment had FREE reign..

Which the American Constitution included.. i.e LIMITS
The American Constitution LIMITED Federal Givernment BUT..
NOT State and Local government..

Federal givernment WAS a vassal of the States..
When the States become(became) vassals of federal givernment THEN democracy BEGINS...
NOT UNTIL THEN...

America is now a democracy and no longer a republic.. as outlined by the Constitution..
It’s now, Mob Rule.. pure and simple.. it’s not even debatable..

Obama(democrats/Rinos) sees things AS THEY ARE.....
Conservative.. Republicans sees things as they used to be..

It will change with rivers of blood.. not until..
FREEDOM costs blood(always).. not petty whining..

Muslim Imams also see things the way they used to be, namely seventh-century barbarism. Should their vision be permitted to come to pass?

As for Britain, the history there features vacillation between monarchic despotism and free parliamentary government close to the republican ideal of the USA’s Founding Fathers.

You’re certainly right that freedom costs blood. But these kinds of despotic governments were foretold in scripture too, as punishment for indulging in social libertinism.

We won, and then gave it back.

Similar to what we did in Viet Nam. We won, then gave it back. Millions died, but I don’t think the Kerrys and Joan Baez’s of the world lost much sleep over it.

We are in the process of giving Afghanistan back. And to go one step farther, in Iraq I am convinced that ISIS is a Turkish/Saudi/State Department project. Meaning that we have switched sides completely.

The Middle East is best described as many separate bee hives in close proximity. The hives have no problem all attacking each other, while also attacking people who get too close. Almost every state leader hated al Qaeda because of their attempted coups in Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Practically no Mideast government counts as Orthodox enough for them, because none are a Caliphate, and the Iranian Ayatollahs would not accept competition. Regarding hatred of Israel, that’s separate, most anti-jihadist leaders hated them as a status quo. We could leave the Middle East alone to settle out there , but even the leftists can’t pass up on an opportunity to grab some spotlight attention in claiming that they ended tyranny somewhere.

I also noticed that the news didn’t mention Kosovo much, because perhaps Kosovo wouldn’t paint the best picture if a won deal.

Bee hives do not tend to consolidate to the point of being ruled by one queen bee. They don’t attack each other either, but spread out, and do not tend to try and turn other non-bee species into bees, but live in harmony with other species unless their hive is attacked.

The Caliphatists are using tactics like “Arab nationalism” and the concept of the Ummah (for non-Arab Muslims) to create a singular centralized “Muslim world”. There are far more “ordinary” Muslims than the media cares to admit who are on board with this concept, otherwise the terrorists would get nowhere within Islam.

7th century barbarism(Mob Rule) has always been the case on this Planet..
Still is... Russia(eastern urp) and China(asia) have never ever known freedom..
And the culture of western Urp is monarchy based(mob rule)..Central givernment.. rule by some cabal..

Despotic Mob Rule has been all they know and are comfortable with..
Democracy “worship” has bewitched most.. and blinded many..

Democracy was, is now, and always will be Mob Rule by mobsters..
Majority rule guided by a small cabal of “manipulators”.. (with goons)..

You know......... Mob Rule by Mobsters..
