The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Wednesday ramped up its response to the expanding Ebola outbreak, a move that frees up hundreds of employees and signals the agency sees the health emergency as a potentially long and serious one.
The CDCs level 1 activation is reserved for the most serious public health emergencies, and the agency said the move was appropriate considering the outbreaks potential to affect many lives. The CDC took a similar move in 2005 in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and again in 2009 during the bird-flu threat.

And I don’t think it’s “silly” that this country does need missionaries.

LOL, really, don’t blame it on Christians and don’t tell missionaries where to serve.
Christian missionaries are needed in Africa, so are doctors, not every Christian missionary has to work on you, and not every doctor has to work for the VA.

How about charity starts at home. We need these missionaries here or havent you noticed the Godlessness of this country. How about these Christian docs stay here and volunteer to help our vets who are dying. That doesn't give the impression that you are a concerned Christian, but that you are just angry at Christians.

However, I’m very annoyed with you.
Beat it. Find someone else to irritate.
