There has always been a huge Christian population in Lebanon. Remember the Christian militias of the early 90’s?
ISIS would not be welcome there. They are better off moving north towards Turkey or South to Saudi.
The Saudis would wipe out any competition wouldn’t they? Their brand of Islam is fairly monolithic.

It appears to me that ISIS has puffed themselves up to the point where they believe they are invincible. Looks like they may divide their forces if they attack Lebanon and expose their flank to air attacks by Egypt and Israel.
Well, I’m just a sergeant, so others may have different opinions.
