Afghanistan shares a large border with Iran and that makes the place useful for everything from ground sensor monitoring to incursion flights and ground activities.

Pakistan has become hostile to the activities of the US to monitor and possibly stop Iran from getting the bomb.

Obama may wish Iran gets the bomb but many others do not.

I read the same thing online (MSN). It said an American soldier had been killed and several others wounded. Also wounded, a German Brigadier General (non-life threatening injuries). It is a mistake or a deliberate effort to underplay the rank of the Yank murdered. Time to bail on these assholes or get some spine.
