When Jesus rules the world, how will those who commit murder be executed? Will they be stoned? Serious theological question. (jokes will be appreciated, though, God does have a sense of humor and I distinctly remember reading a reply in the Old Testament that sounded like sarcasm.)

Well, it’s immediate, painless, foolproof, not affected by the subject’s body weight, and doesn’t require a physician’s assistance. Sounds like a winner to me.

Not only that, it would return the death penalty's lost effectiveness as a deterrent by returning to a method that is fearsome rather than peaceful.
