The United Nations found troves of rockets hidden in three UN schools since the conflict began. We condemn the group or groups who endangered civilians placing these munitions in our school, Chris Gunness, spokesman for the U.N. Relief and Works Agency, said Wednesday. This is yet another flagrant violation of the neutrality of our premises. We call on all the warring parties to respect the inviolability of U.N. property.
Earlier this month, the United Nations also found rockets piled inside one of its vacant schools near other schools used to accommodate displaced people.
Inside a Gaza Strip mosque in January 2009, nothing at first seemed unusual with the wooden pulpit pushed against the cement wall. Barely taller than a man, it stood beside a microphone stand near an electric fan and some plastic chairs, according to photographs captured by the Israel Defense Forces.
But hidden inside the pulpit, Israel alleged, were a Kalashnikov assault rifle, a bulletproof vest and binoculars. Soldiers soon spread the mosques cache on the floor, a haul that included a rifle, grenades and ammunition. Hamas operatives, Israel charged, were to blame.
The many mosques in the Gaza Strip serve not only religious functions, but are also put to military use by Hamas and other terrorist organizations, the Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center said at the time. They are used to hide terrorist operatives, store weapons, as sites from which rockets and mortar shells are launched.
Israeli military officials claim Hamass maintenance of military operations inside civilian institutions precipitate such attacks.
Hamas chooses to use these protected areas for military purposes in order to shield itself from IDF strikes, the Israel Defense Forces said this week. And to draw international condemnation of Israel if the IDF is forced to respond.

Taqqiyah.
UNRWA was in in on it from the beginning.
“Because Gaza is so small there are no other places to hide weapons and launch rockets.”
That was the first thing that entered my mind when I saw the thread.
UNDOUBTEDLY HAMAS INSIDERS GET THESE PLUM JOBS. UNWRA IS AN EMPLOYMENT AGENCY FOR JIAHDISTS AND THEIR CLAN/FAMILY MEMBERS WHO MIGHT NOT BE AS FANATICAL
The UN part of the UNRWA, the blue logos and symbols, fool us into thinking of it as an international humanitarian organization. But the UNRWA in Gaza functions as a large Palestinian Arab organization with a smattering of foreign supervisory staff.
And those foreign staffers often tend to leave during a conflict.
The UNRWA is not an international organization operating in the Middle East. Effectively its a local Arab Muslim organization funded and regulated internationally. Since the UNRWA classifies 80% of Gazans as refugees, it administers the biggest welfare state in the world on their behalf.
The UNRWA is the biggest employer in the West Bank and Gaza after the Palestinian Authority and the vast majority of its employees are locally recruited. Varying figures place the share of local employees at between 90 and 99 percent.
Even though there are more Arab Muslims living in the West Bank than in Gaza, there are more official refugees in Gaza, which means that more UNRWA funding and efforts are directed there. The UNRWA only runs 96 schools in the West Bank, but it runs 245 schools in Gaza. It employs less than 3,000 education staffers in the West Bank, but over 10,000 in Gaza.
Those wild n wacky Hamasnicks..... they are meshugenah!!
How many mosques in the USA are weapons caches???
The willing collaboration of the media with Hamas disgusts me to no end.
On the bright side, perhaps this will put an end to the “Jews control the media” line.
My guess is all thanks to Bathhouse.

by contrast here’s Thomas Aquinas talking about the rules of war:
Now a man may be deceived by another’s word or deed in two ways. First, through being told something false, or through the breaking of a promise, and this is always unlawful. No one ought to deceive the enemy in this way, for there are certain “rights of war and covenants, which ought to be observed even among enemies,” as Ambrose states (De Officiis i).

I don’t understand why the U.N. has schools anywhere. Do we have U.N. ran schools in the USA?
Thanks dennisw.
