Aww man, hilarious!
Funniest thing I ever seen was Pryor’s best on Pearl Harbor.
Rest In Peace, Richard!

And Pryor never really got a comic film worthy of him...one that showed him at his best (excepting his stand up films). Eddie Murphy and Robin Williams did. Steve Martin did. But Pryor’s post mainstream popularity (1976 or so) films that were supposed to be comedies range from mildly tolerable to horrible.

Pryor did more to improve race relations in this country than any civil rights activist.
He made fun of black culture as well as white culture, and got blacks and whites to laugh at and with each other.
I occasionally post one of his greatest routines, when there’s a thread about somebody complaining about how many blacks are in prison.
Richard provided the perfect retort.
