Bachmann was similarly pleased with the the GOPs new unity on the full immigration package. "I was a 'hell no,' and now I can be for this bill today," Bachmann told reporters.
We completely gutted the bill, we changed the bill. It is nothing like it was yesterday, Bachmann explained, saying the bill is "far better today than it was yesterday. She further credited the American peoples willingness to call their representatives for the turnaround.
The voice of the commo-sense, reasonable American who just wants to have our border secure, who don't want to have all these inducements to bringing illegal foreign nationals into the country with great consequences for the people who live here their voices were heard, Bachmann said. It's because they melted the phone lines in the last few days that everyone got together and we got a much better bill. One that I can easily get behind.
"But the new united GOP front against the Democrats immigration stance caused worry and chaos in the ranks on the left.
A unified bold conservative alternative to the open borders radicals is the biggest threat to the Democrat Party, conservative activist Daniel Horowitz, who fought aggressively on this matter, told Breitbart News. Their extremism was on display for all of middle America to see today. The message emanating from the entire Democrat Party is that we dont deserve to have borders or sovereignty. These used to be bedrock bipartisan values, but the Democrats have been taken over by extremists. This image will hurt them with the broad electorate in November. The Democrats went haywire in support of amnesty throughout the day Friday after the House GOP unified around the new conservative strategy.

There is no more Democrat party, but a Latino party. US democrates are flushed out by abortion, gays and replaced by foreign government based people. It is complete suicide. dnesh is right.
RINO!!!!!
Actually, I don’t think she is but I am in a humorous mood today and I think this reply is funny.
"Free Republic is here to continue fighting for independence and freedom and against the unconstitutional encroachment of ever expanding socialist government...
We believe in the founding principles with all our hearts and mean to defend them to our dying breath..."

Just call it the House (capitalized) - no one else uses that acronym, at least in anything that Ive ever read.
Just put a "W" in front and an "E" at the end and it fits them all perfectly.
No, Rino or not, the problem with Bachman is that she ran for president as a Swiss citizen, belately disclosing her long time and secretively dual citizenship. Very embarrassing. Plus, in my opinion, she’s a bit of a loon.
Because most of the legal Hispanic immigrants know of a few of their own relatives who are here illegally. They want all the others deported but not their own.
I don’t think that it is feasible to ask that ALL illegals be deported, but I do think that the recent illegals should all be deported.
What I would like to see is voter ID that is not connected to motor voter. Special drivers’ licenses for people who lack proper identification (birth certificate), that would be accompanied by a prepaid insurance policy. The special driver’s license would be accompanied by a full set of fingerprints so that the person without proper ID could not simply change his name whenever he got into trouble.
The driver’s license with fingerprints would also help prevent id theft.
“I dont think that it is feasible to ask that ALL illegals be deported, but I do think that the recent illegals should all be deported.”
That will certainly send a message to the foreign nationals who are currently weighing whether or not to illegally set up shop in the United States.
Of course the message is “if I stay there long enough they won’t bother deporting me” which is the same message that the amnesty crowd has been sending them for years.
When you won’t deport illegal aliens back to their own country you are giving them defacto amnesty. It doesn’t matter how long they have been here.
“ the HOR

I’ve seen Hor used before in reference to the House, but I don’t mind it too much, especially because it sounds like whore, which is oftentimes appropriate.

LOL, can’t argue Whore...that was making it tough on me. In this case, since the listened to Cruz - definitely NOT whore.
