After he left the show producer vamped. That sounded a little contrived to me.
I love Jason. Still, I’m thinking this is a stunt.

This is clearly a well planned PR campaign. And it worked. I did check out the galt.io site.
It’s a movie of him quitting spontaneously to go Galt.
So obviously this is planned and orchestrated with galt.io being integral.
The movie uses the theme from Blazing Saddles, Taxman by the Beatles and some country song about taxes.
I wonder, given the theme of non-producers stealing from producers, if they licensed and paid for the use of those songs.

Shame. I was surprised to hear Levin on at his usual spot on my station. I may not agree with all of libertarian thoughts, but at least he gets me thinking. I’m grateful for his input.
Oh well. I hope he has luck with Galt.io.

Well, here I am! Phew! I've brought my super-Hank Reardony Neumann microphone and all my show prep for the week and my Dagny little producer and I'm all dressed like John Galt!
Now all I need is another man that thinks just like me to build a radio studio! And an affiliate list! Hey you! What do you know about broadcast engineering? This thing's called a "528E." This here is a compressor. Do you have an exciter? What do you know about AM propagation? Can you make me sound like the corporate jerks did? Can you take me to full modulation? I have a few hundred bucks saved up.
And all those stations and transmitters! We need to replicate that! C'MON! How many radio people do you know? How many top flight guys who want to work for nothing... Y'know, just to start out?
And listeners! How many listeners are in this here gulch? HEY PEOPLE... WHO'S WITH ME?
And the Advertisers! C'mon! Let's make those calls! I thought you guys were loyal! ADVERTISERS! Hey, who's with me?
Hello?
Hello
It's been the same since "big time radio superstars" blew themselves out on KDKA, CKLW, WABC and everywhere else...

Andy Dean? is on the same network in Houston and announced he was signing off to some web thing.
I think it’s all a corporate publicity stunt.
And the CEO of LiveNation just hosted President Obama at his home.

Well......As I always said during my career, “I was looking for a job when I found this one.”
That may not mean much to some people, but I understood it.
