“I love Mark but can somebody tell me why he seems to loathe the American south and their role in the Civil War? The other night he had an hour bashing the long dead Confederacy until I wanted to pull my hair out”
I agree.
I appreciate Levin’s no-holds-barred stand against big government proponents of both parties and his willingness to name names and take them on.
But you are right, he is tendentious in the extreme (and tiresome) when it comes to the War Between the States. The only thing I can think of that put this burr under his saddle is that he is a Lincolnolator. When he begins one of his anti-South tirades (the colonies had every right to secede from Britain but the southern states had no right to secede from the North, etc.), I turn the station off. I have better things to do than listen to that hobby horse.
To Mark Levin, Abraham Lincoln is an unrivaled hero of American history. All else follows.
