Patton had an engraved, silver plated, ivory gripped SAA, Single Action Army, that he bought in El Paso on March 5, 1916 and killed two of Pancho Villa's lieutenants with and an ivory gripped, S&W .357 registered magnum, shipped to him from the Smith & Wesson factory on October 18, 1935. The belt and holsters for Patton's Colt .45 and Smith & Wesson .357 were made by S.D. Myers of El Paso, Texas.
