It is remarkable how you can go through life happy-go-lucky convinced you have no enemies... then one day find out that a person on the other side of the world, whom you have never even personally met, has been seething... apparently for years.
Remarkable and creepy...
“It is The Times’ policy not to publish the names of juvenile suspects unless they are charged as adults.”
This used to not be too big a deal, but now that Illinois, and likely other states, don’t allow criminal background checks, potential employers will be interviewing these KILLERS without even knowing it and therefore not even having the chance to take reasonable security precautions.
“You need to concentrate on making minimal sense.”
No kidding...must have hit the bottle pretty hard there.
“.”Suspects were apparently not aware of the network of technology — including 150 cameras — scattered around campus”.”
...and keep in mind we’re not talking $20 security cameras, most likely. More like cameras that read every license plate, pick up cell phone transmissions, probably pick up audio transmissions, and have IR capability.
People from LaHood have to be a bit more careful now...life is not as anonymous as it used to be. Next step is to figure out a way to actually lock them up for more than a couple of years for crimes like this.
“I wonder if the Chinese would use this to push back against the US; one of their best and brightest just got murdered in the US and now our country now has egg on it.”
I doubt it, and they shouldn’t. They have to know LaHood over there at USC and this was certainly not an intentional government policy or provocation.
I suspect that they are still a LOT MORE angry about Clinton bombing their embassy in Belgrade 15 years ago - now that was intentional (he didn’t like China helping the Christians), and we’re lucky that China was weak enough (back then) to not want to start a war with us.
“Police said there were no indications the...attack on Ji was racially motivated.”
How could it be? Asians are NOT a protected group.
LA Times should be ashamed of itself - sympathizing with these torturers instead of the victim.
Sickening.
UNC Professor Dies After Robbery And Assault Near Campus
Two American Negroes crushed his skull with a rock in brazen daylight robbery.
With concealed carry now it’s a LOT SAFER for people from LaHood to go after Asians as many are not citizens, or do not have guns, or work at a place where they cannot carry guns.
Similar to the way foreign tourists were being killed in Florida, in the 1980s. Given their Democrat governor at the time, the killings weren’t a “problem” until it starting affecting tourism (i.e., Europeans started canceling trips). At that moment you had a crime crackdown that that would have given Guiliani the chills - probably the most intense and TARGETED (blacks only) crackdown in the second half of the 20th century.
” Mr Ji “
Ji is probably his first name. I think he would be Mr. Xinran.
He couldn’t figure it out Bob, and apparently neither did you. I don’t think the person who posted the thread had some conspiracy or covert motive for not posting the first sentence, especially since it was in the article anyway. (See article)
Try and keep up Bob.
The point of their comment in the article regarding evidence was there seems to be a pickup truck full of evidence against the suspects, since they were already suspected of other recent crimes, complete with human witnesses....But all that about the cameras was interesting.
BTW, everywhere one goes in large population centers nowadays you’ll be captured on someones surveillance video. Ya can’t drive two blocks in LA without a good chance of that happening.
LAT has no shame. It’s a Communist paper put out for lumberheads, cup drooling morons and socialist...
No one else would pay to read that garbage...I mean they run multiple headlines about some basketball team for God’s sake...Anything to distract the morons from the ugly reality.
They exhibit sympathy for the devil as a matter of routine. Disciples of deceit...Sultans of sham...
dragnut2 is doubling down on the sauce.
I carry two of these. Ambidexterity has benifits.I see why you are called MaxMax.
Now look at what NYC has a mayor.
“mayor”
has as a mayor.
“Try and keep up Bob.”
Yea, I had to deal with your type when it came to Windows 8. “NOTHING WRONG with Windows 8”, you guys said, “it was MY PROBLEM” I was told...
Needless to say, I don’t think much of arrogant and condescending people.
I hear you...and I responding to the flamer too.
