The Republican National Committee will take up the explosive subject of the race-card playing radio ads in the Mississippi Senate GOP run-off election between Senator Thad Cochran and Tea Party challenger Chris McDaniel. The RNC is scheduled to hold its summer meeting in Chicago August 6-9 at the Westin Michigan Avenue in Chicago.
The discussion, according to an RNC source, will occur on the morning of August 7 behind closed doors at the Members Only breakfast that runs between 8:00-9:30. There is no word whether RNC Chairman Reince Priebus, under pressure to investigate the ads, will then comment publicly on the discussion.
At the same time, the leading proponent of an investigation, Missouri State GOP Chair Ed Martin, was on the receiving end of an inquiry from a Priebus aide, Matt Pinnell, the RNCs State Party Director. The question put to the executive director of the Missouri State Party was: When is the next election for Missouri State GOP Chair? In other words, Priebus appeared to be firing a warning shot at a duly elected RNC member that he would seek to remove that member at the next available election. Since the rules for electing state GOP chairmen are easily googled, the direct nature of the request appeared to be an unsubtle warning. Pinnell himself is a former state chairman of the Oklahoma GOP.
The uproar over the ads has continued in the conservative media and among leading conservative activists. On July 15, a number of long-time conservative activists wrote the following letter to RNC Chairman Priebus on the stationery of the Tea Party Patriots Citizens Fund, which reads, in part:......

Is McDaniel finished? Is it over?
Someone's finished, and the initials are G O P...
Conservatives need to start calling our state GOP organizations and letting the Chairs know how we feel.
It sounds like some of the state chairs are ticked over what happened in MO. That’s a pressure point Conservatives can push ...
An RNC meeting in Chicago? Geez, how many ways can it go wrong? Especially when every hotel meeting and house rooms have been bugged for how many decades? Rhambo is just salivating while having a political Anthony Weiner moment.
Then we hear that somehow we have a quote from the Chairman’s aide threatening the Missouri Chairman?
I honestly hope the establishment RNC loses its hopes on gaining majority in the Senate. How much worse can it get if either establishment party is in charge? Honestly.
We have a party that will not hold the pResident accountable to the Constitution for the only reason they have convinced themselves they will attain power someday to do exactly the same thing to us.
I can’t wait to get RNC or NRSC mail. Ill use the return envelope duct-taped with a 70lbs. Concrete block with “remember Mississippi! no More RINOs!
Priebus is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Barbours. Expect nothing from this.
Wrap the block in this
Good grief. The RNC is even more evil and corrupt than previously believed.
GOP is Democrat without the Marxist talk.
Libertarians have insane foreign policy.
Democrats are tools of Satan.
I have no political home.
The rot runs deep in the Republican party.
Deal with them when you must, but always shower immediately thereafter.
There is something bigger at play here. They are called Country Club or Rockefeller Republicans for a reason. They don’t want to win the Senate. Because if they do, the Conservative voice will be heard which will ruin it for everyone.
They WANT to be in the minority. Just as the leftwing steals directly from the treasury, the country club sect steals in the form of bailouts. Everyone wins except the middle class who is left holding the bag, and the lower class who never sees the promises made to them.
The formula is simple. Government creates a program. The program is hyped up by the media. Money flows into the program. Everyone takes a cut. The program fails miserably. The financiers get bailed out with long term money which far exceeds the original investment. Some of that is kicked back.
Wash, rinse and repeat.
If you have a media who is the gatekeeper of the message and there is no way of getting punished, why would you change?
PERFECT! THANKS!
No, it isn’t over.
When is the next election for the Missouri State GOP Chair?
