kitty ping
Very wise kitties. :)
I wish I could give them all fish.
That's in one of the comments in the article, and it irritates me. This line is frequently used, but feminists ignore the fact that many women get paid the same salary as men while relying on a man to get the job done. I've observed this myself in various jobs I've held over many decades. Women who ask me to lift heavy items into place, although it is supposed to be one of the job requirements for the title they hold. Example: racking servers into equipment cabinets. Women who ask me to do dirty tasks that are supposed to be job requirements. Example: pulling wires through under computer room floor tiles. Etc. Men get threatened with being fired for not doing tasks that women are given a pass on for neglecting the tasks. I wouldn't care except they spread this stereotype of getting less pay in some instances without showing offsetting examples.
I poured a glass of water for the cat and a cup of coffee for myself, opened the morning window for cat two... then we enjoyed this kitty ping. I think I will have the shed poster enlarged for their um, room. Technically, we still call it the guest room, but everyone knows their place in this house. Gotta run.. cats need breakfast.
Made me smile...:)
And I sure needed it.
“ women are still frequently paid less for the same work, ”
An issue which, if you read about or were apart of the anti-feminist movement, you would know is for perfectly good reasons. One of them being that most women cannot take on (or refuse to do so) work involving lots of physical labor and high risks. Men are compensated for both accordingly, which is as it should be.
