Despite a history of rocky relations between U.S. President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Obama administration could largely be counted on to watch Israels back in the U.N. Security Council, where it succeeded for more than five years in blocking successive efforts by the Palestinians to gain more of the trappings of an independent state and to get the world body to formally censure Israeli settlement policies.
That changed after the stroke of midnight Sunday when, in the early minutes of Monday, July 28, the U.N. Security Council, with the backing of the United States, issued a formal presidential statement demanding that Israel and Hamas implement an immediate and unconditional cease-fire to end fighting that has left more than 1,000 Palestinians and 43 Israelis dead. The Palestinians say they will continue to seek Security Council support for a legally enforceable resolution demanding that Israel halt its military offensive in Gaza.

Because Jews are socialists...
“Most likely Romney would have been the same as Obama”
That is a totally idiotic thought on your part, and I believe you to be too intellligent to believe it. All Freepers that say there is a moral, intellectual and emotional equivalence between Barak Hussein Obama and Mitt Romney are lying to themselves and to others. Perhaps there are as many Mormon haters as there are Jew haters roaming around on various threads here. How else do you explain the irrationality and dislike displayed so often in the comments sections. It morally disgusts me.
“Because Jews are socialists...”
Yeah, like Mark Levin and Charles Krauthammer and Dennis Prager, and David Horowitz, etc.
That’s a very emotional response on your part, with all due respect. I choose to look at the record. The man’s religion to me is meaninglessunless it is unclear with taint of mendacity (such as with Obama) or deliberately shows enmity to the USA’s Constitution.
Besides, I already stated that I was in the “hold my nose and vote” category. At best, Romney would have been another Bush, but further left. When it comes to politicians (especially versus statesmen), Jeremiah 17:5 is the rule of thumb, so to speak.
Krauthammer perhaps a little. Levin, absolutely not.
Have you been to Israel?
“Have you been to Israel?”
I would love to go. My relative has gone and says it is beautiful there. I would go there to fight Hamas if I were younger. Mitt Romney has been to Israel. He is a friend of Israel, unlike our Jew hating secretly a Muzzie at heart President. I know Israel’s history, and I know who her enemies are. Are you an enemy of Israel?
“At best, Romney would have been another Bush, but further left.”
No President in U.S. history has been as far to the left as Barak Hussein Obama, surpassing even Woodrow Wilson and Jimmy Carter. He has them all beat. And he is not an American patriot, nor does he have any vested interest in the American way of life, it’s values or moral precepts. Romney is a patriot who loves his country. Obama is not of this country. Obama is a total narcissist. Neither Bush nor Romney are narcissists. Neither of them are commie/pinko/fascist/socialist totalitarians either, unlike our current resident in the WH, a building that he and his thug regime are polluting this very moment in time and unfortunately for two more years.
If you can’t see a difference in how the last 6 years have gone in the WH under Obama and what it would have been like under Romney, and (God help me, even under McCain, which would have been a lot worse than under Romney) then you are myopic to an extreme. There have been a lot of imperfect Presidents, but never one like the one we’ve got now, who hates our country, hates our military, and is a Marxist/Fascist to boot. I hope we can survive the next two years. But if there are enough people like some of those on these threads that have decided that the Republican Party is now the enemy and Pubs should not be voted for, then we are indeed screwed as a country. I just resent that those types will take me down with them.
Israel began as a socialist state (a kibbutz is a commune).
Business leader: PM Netanyahu is extreme socialist

I can’t judge by any presidency, but I sure can judge by what Romney did in Massachusetts, and anyone who tempts God in that fashion certainly does not love his country. Please reveal just what, if any, positions Romney holds that are analogous to the Tea Party?
And don’t make this an “Obama versus” either. I already told you who I voted for in 2012. The argument is moot.
Kibbutzim were not the whole of Israeli society by far.
Uriel Lynn is more a lawyer than a businessman, and has a long history in Israel’s Liberal Party.
Obviously, B. Hussein Obama is not worried about losing always loyal to Democrats, “Jewish Vote” in the 2014 mid-term Elections.
I do notice that Obama raises a lot of money from New York City Democrat (Jewish?) Donors - - - .
Bumparoooo Phil!
This should come as no surprise.
