Wish I could take credit for that headline but it’s Aaron Gardner’s.
Here’s a nice scoop for Eliana Johnson, who somehow got hold of an early memo prepared by Michelle Nunn’s Senate campaign in Georgia after they stupidly posted it online briefly last winter. Of the many gems within, my second-favorite is the one emphasizing “rural” photo ops to show Georgians that Nunn is one of them. She’s a creature of the Beltway since birth, having grown up in Maryland while her dad Sam served in the Senate, but it’s important when trying to inherit a Senate seat as part of a political dynasty to convince the local rubes that you care about what they care about before being handed the scepter.
As I say, that’s my second-favorite revelation. Here’s my favorite. Those three little letters say so much:

Good news for Jewish donors, I guess. If her line on Gaza ends up being a bit too pro-Hamas, cut her another check and see what happens.
More rural pandering here. You trust her to stick to a strong pro-gun-rights line in the Senate, dont you?
Ditto for me.
The 144 page memo i available of downloading at the linked article. I perused it just now. Most of it appears to have been written in late 2013, but their si some juice in it.
They expect the campaign and dem affilates to raise $37 million and for the republican opponent and affilates to raise $46 million. Their plan is to directly raise $15 million. None of it from direct mail or telemarketing, although the are planning to do resolictation mailing (mail to people who have given already). Early on they say they need $18 to 20 million to win.
They are predicting 2.7 million voters in the general and they need to garner 1.4 million of them. They talk about enlarging the vote while surpressing the republican vote. It does not describe how to do that.
If Alison Grimes is “Grimey”, then this witch can be “Scuzzy”.
Michelle Nunn prefers to be called “Fish Hook” (as in “last time I saw a mouth like that it was caught on a fish hook”).
Bttt
Put her next to Sheila Simon and suddenly she doesn’t look so bad!
