I never understood the appeal of Archie comics. Who the heck are these guys who are picking up some book about teenagers over some awesome superhero sci-fi mystic barbarian comic? Thats like deciding to watch the jewelry shopping network instead of the ball game or something. I mean come on, are there guys out there who claim Archie is their favourite? Or is it for girls or something?

you sound like your channeling my old boss and mentor, M. Stanton Evans, who said, “When I go to the dentist office and they’re playing Steeley Dan, I concentrate on the pain in my mouth to block out the music.”
This is the kind of "controversy" that the Left creates in order to fight a battle on "their turf". Plus, I would be surprised if there isn't some plan to make an "Archie movie". If they had done so before this manufactured-controversy I doubt very many people would buy a ticket, but now...
Is this sh!t for real? What kid these days even reads, let alone bothers to buy and read a comic book?
now that you mention it, comic books are a little too advanced for public education today.
We didn't read it back when I was a kid, either. "Lame", or somesuch, was the very appropriate opinion.
Fast forward 30-odd years. I can't imagine that many 8-15 year old boys say "Man, I gotta get me MORE of that gay comic!".
You have to know an adult Lucy would be some sort of femi-nazi.
Yes, they covered just about every major liberal issue of the day in one move, didn’t they.
Altamont looks like he’s on his way to a Gay S&M Club.
He should teach her something all right.
