Americans are so down on President Obama at the moment that, if they could do the 2012 election all over again, they'd overwhelmingly back the former Massachusetts governor's bid. That's just one finding in a brutal CNN poll, released Sunday, which shows Romney topping Obama in a re-election rematch by a whopping nine-point margin, 53 percent to 44 percent. That's an even larger spread than CNN found in November, when a survey had Romney winning a redo 49 percent to 45 percent.

Before the regular haters show up:
PRIOR to posting:I searched using the following:
Americans really wish they had elected Mitt Romney instead of Obama
Americans really wish
and
Romney instead of Obama
And
Romney
I bet if he runs again, the same crew suddenly reappears to tell us it would be better to have Hillary...
I voted for the putz. A putz is a putz, but I’d rather have the putz.
Even that useless scumbag Albright is starting to feel the impending storm. And she’s scared.
The media always reports things as if Obama was really elected. I don’t believe it. Voter fraud is always disregarded.
The lesser of two evils, I guess. Not that we’ve been given any damned choice.
But when Romney himself was polled he said that he didn’t really want to win and still preferred Obama.
If they had voted for Mitt, the white guilt thing would have kicked in and they wouldn’t be feeling good about themselves the way they are now. Naw. The Mitt thing wouldn’t have worked. Everybody Loves Barry.
romney was my last “least of two evils” vote.
He would have been abundantly better than zero...
... in that the march toward Armageddon would have been slower.
But we still would have been marching toward Armageddon.
Romney would need more than a 9-point pole margin to win. He would have to overcome the dead voters, the illegal voters and the multiple-time voters.
That sums up the 2012 election perfectly.
“Americans are so down on President Obama at the moment that, if they could do the 2012 election all over again, they’d overwhelmingly back the former Massachusetts governor’s bid...”
Well, they had their chance. I’ve never been a big fan of Mitt (except when he was taking Obama apart in that first debate, hee hee!), but I voted for him. I voted for him because I knew what four more years of Obama meant. Now these clowns do, too.
Of course, if Romney HAD won, these same folks would probably be whining how much they wish Obama had won.
Get ready for the GOPe-bots. If the Pubbies don't take the Senate in November, they'll blame you (and me).
Evidence of that are the threads on Chris McDaniel, calling him a "poor loser", while barely acknowledging the racist attacks launched by the Cochran campaign.
Are you kidding? REALLY wish???????
He was the lesser of the 2 evils.
Ultimately, it is God’s hands and in Him all true believers put their trust, because they know Him and believe His Word. The downward spiral into world-wide sin at the end is foretold in the Scriptures.
You did some unnecessary searching. Just searching for Romney would show this article had not been posted.
Democrats have been seeking revenge against Bush 43 for stealing the presidency from Al Gore. So who’s to say conclusively that Romney actually didn’t win 2012 with respect to media-ignored allegations of Democratic ballot box stuffing?
In fact, I’ve always wondered why Romney didn’t fight the issue to the Supreme Court like Bush did. It was like Romney was just following a script, his role being to lose the election.
And it’s too bad that these dirty races for control of the Oval Office are based on crook “leaders” wanting to exercise constitutionally nonexistent federal government powers imo.
