As Ukrainian troops gained ground in eastern Ukraine in early July, separatist leader, Aleksander Borodai, a Russian national, left for Moscow for political consultations.
After what he described as successful talks with unnamed people there, he returned to the rebel stronghold of Donetsk to introduce a new senior figure in his self-proclaimed republic, a compatriot seasoned in the pro-Russian separatist movement in Moldova and a war between Russia and Georgia.

Obama is doing nothing. Obama couldn't care less.
Putin whats you to think it's about Obama, Nazis, Soros...etc.
Russia should stay out of Ukraine.
Long live the Reagan legacy of freedom and independence in E. Europe.
This a modern day David vs Goliath war.
I often get the impression now that we have conservatives who have no real idea what conservatives believed or believe. They’ve apparently little knowledge of history or philosophy.
There is another war going on, one in which some very high level people are betting on one outcome, and the Russians are betting on another. This one is out of sight, concealed by the media, and by some “hush money” being spread around.
The Ukrainian government is “heavily involved” with contributions from the Soros cartel. Soros first involved himself in Ukrainian affairs in 1989, when he established the Ukrainian International Renaissance Foundation, or IRF, two years before Ukraine became an independent nation. Since then, Soros has provided more than $100 million to support Ukrainian groups, mostly through the IRF and the Open Society Institute.
Soros IRF, headquartered in Kiev, not only supports numerous non-governmental organizations, it holds regular seminars and training sessions for local groups regarding such topics as open borders and the transformation of the region via the European Union.
Keep in mind that Putin is trying to resurrect the former territories of the Soviet Union, and Soros is working sort of sideways to counter this objective. Considering Soros’ ties with the Current Regime now squatting in the White Hut, this would explain the rather vindictive attitude of Vladimir Putin toward The Won, and his dismissal of the rather empty threats that keep getting cast his way.
The current government of the Ukraine is HEAVILY reliant on the good graces of the international Soros “hedge funds”, and this fight is not about the titular head of the party governing from Kiev, it is about spheres of influence.
The Putin/Soros fight is not yet out in the open, but it is coming, and willingly or otherwise, all of Europe and probably the Current Regime now in charge of the territory once known as “the United States of America” will be sucked into this conflict.
And all this is only a side issue to the complete chaos that is brewing in the Middle East.
Never let a good crisis go to waste.
The trouble is, the environment is so rich in various crises, it is hard to pick just which one to harness to best effect.
All I have to say is that I will be shocked to my core if it turns out Obama and his minions are on the right side of this.... I don’t think I’m in for a shock, but many others will be.
Stupidity reigns in their brain.
They see a strong ruthless man willing to do anything to win, and admire him for that without realizing that he is on the other team about to eat your lunch.
What about the Rothchilds?
Dateline, 1779:
Lord North, British Prime Minister:
But whether people see whats happening in the American Colonies, and France’s aggression in the manner in which its financing and arming separatists...”
Thanks for voicing what is happening.
Putin thanks him too for spreading canards and red herrings.
Obama’s government show ya that photo did they? I got a cool photo of Luke Skywalker blowing up the death star and of Will Smith flying an F-18.
IT’s refreshing to see so much faith in our leaders to be honest with us.
“For the same reason the United States should be free and independent, Canada should be free and independent, Poland should be free and independent, etc.”
The Ukraine was free and independent until their government was overthrown by the EU and west. Now your saying the the illegitimate government they were left with should be free and independent?
All he did was speak what is actually the reasons that this is such a real issue. You don’t see either side, Obama or Putin, worrying a whole lot about freedom for poor Ukraine. Each side is interested in what they get from control of Ukraine. Obama fights for freedom for nobody. If he did he would free Venezuela, or help Christians in Iraq. Neither does Putin.
The whole idea is to influence the sheep, in the name of freedom or choice, to do the dirty work.
So then which one do you choose???
That’s pretty much the Left’s view of America too. Were you a Marxist for awhile?
“So then which one do you choose???”
If I had my druthers, neither. It is like watching a fight between a grizzly bear and a wolverine over a kill (in this instance, the Ukraine). The wolverine does not understand the concept of “stepping back” or “retreat”, and the grizzly is absolutely certain that its greater reach and sheer size can fend off the wolverine.
None of this will end well.
How ironic because that's all the two provinces Donetsk and Lugansk are asking for. And the Ukraine Junta is doing everything they can to stop them.
Sure, if you are a nutter who believes Alex Jones and Russkie media. They were so "free" that Yanukovych was having people abducted and tortured. There are videos of protestors who were stripped naked and tortured even before the mass shootings which triggered the revolt. And yet, you want us to believe that everything was all nice and pretty, and that, if not for alleged United States meddling, no one would have stood up to Yanukovcych.
Now your saying the the illegitimate government they were left with should be free and independent?
And why are they illegitimate? Poroshenko won the election by a clear majority in every precinct that had elections, even in the East and South, except for the 2 or 3 cities where the separatists kept people from voting. Every organization that monitored the elections approved its results and the way it was carried out.
You cannot get more legitimate than that, unless you are a Russian Communist who thinks elections are only valid if Moscow has fixed them.
