OUTSTANDING post! Thanks. HOORAY Robert Spencer! BTTT!
I can’t imagine a NATO member fighting Israel. No telling what that would cause.
How do you stop a ship from running a blockade, short of blowing it out of the water?
Obviously these guys want to provoke a violent response, especially with troops on board.
May their barbarian flotilla develop mysterious catastrophic leaks over deep water..
That which floats, can also sink. Especially if it’s overloaded with islamonazis. Ha! What a stupid idea.
The big thing is Turkey is sending troops to Israel. When Israel interdicts them, will they fire? Are they trying to get NATO to enter the war on the side of the Palestinians?
Seems the new jihadis in Turkey’s capitol want to be the first to be vaporized by an Israeli nuke. Works for me, but I was hoping all nukes would be saved for Iran.
I had a feeling this mook would cause World War III before his term was up.
Will Cynthia McKinney be on board?
If your idea of ‘humanitarian’ is to cut off somebody’s head, then what kind of ‘humanitarian supplies’ are on this ship ?
Not a day goes by that I don’t gain more respect for the cause of the Crusades.
Sink ‘em as soon as they enter Israeli waters (yes, that’s off Gaza too).
I was just thinking. If they really do have humanitarian supplies, Israel might just let them land.
If it turns out to be weapons then the next time would be the “fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me” time.
I don’t think the Turkish troops will make it to shore —
Invading with troops to break a block aid is an act of war, Israel legally has the right to sink those ships.
Stupid move...
The Israelis should simply have a word with the Kurds - in Turkey as well as Iraq.
For Turkey to include soldiers in an effort to break through a legal blockade is effectively an act of war. Thus Israel can and should interdict and disable these vessels at sea, with notification to a neutral power that these ships will require aid in their removal to a neutral port.
Possibly the easiest means to do this would be for Israel to make a small, acoustic torpedo, without explosives other than to propel perhaps 20 pounds of tough nylon cable into the ships propeller, rendering it inoperative and unable to be fixed at sea. Like sticking a ball of yarn into a blender.
But there are many, many ways to disable ships at sea from a distance. If nothing else, put a bunch of .50 caliber armor piercing rounds through their engine.
Another reason never to let Turkey into NATO.
Turkey ironically has always had the potential to become a Trojan Horse. It should be kicked out of NATO now.
I want Constantinople back. (The British and French had it for 2 years but gave it back in 1924.)
Islam delenda est.
