The head of the independent U.N. commission on Syrian war crimes said Friday that commanders of the Islamic State extremist group are “good candidates" to be put on a confidential list of alleged perpetrators.
Brazilian diplomat and scholar Paulo Sergio Pinheiro said the al-Qaida breakaway group, which now controls a swath of north and eastern Syria, has carried out public executions, crucifixions and other “gross human rights violations.” […]
He said the list includes people who are “criminally responsible for hostage-taking, torture and executions;” heads of Syrian intelligence branches and detention facilities where detainees are tortured; military commanders who target civilians; airports where bombing attacks are launched; and armed groups and individuals involved in “attacking and forcibly displacing civilians.” …

Maybe the UN Headquarters should be moved to Kiev, Ukraine?
* Near the action;
* Centrally located and thus reduces the need to fly across the Pacific Ocean;
* Plenty of Russian Natural Gas to heat a new UN HQ;
* Putin could build the HQ in Kiev, if it was named after him, of course.

More likely is that the UN will invite the bad guys to UN get-togethers to party and burn U.S. flags.
Yeah, good idea. And maybe send someone in to investigate the Iranian nuclear weapons program, Iranian war on women, Assad’s mass-murder of Syrians, and maybe get around to demilitarizing Iran’s terrorist proxies in Lebanon and Syria.
