Israel’s Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu revealed on Thursday that Hamas was intending to attack Israel from dozens of tunnels in a coordinated simultaneous attack. At the beginning of Thursday’s special cabinet meeting the prime minister said, “These tunnels enable the enemy to open a multi-pronged offensive and carry out a massive terror attack inside Israel.”
The attack Hamas was planning, the officials say, “would have made Israel drop to its knees.” They added that even the tunnels destroyed until now takes away from Hamas a strategic asset the terror group has been working on for years.
Hamas has prepared a veritable plan for ground warfare, after a few failed terror attacks and the realization that rockets are no match for Israel’s Iron Dome defense system. Preparations for a ‘boots-on-the-ground’ war started when Hamas realized it had nothing to lose, but the organization was not prepared for the IDF to start the ground incursion so soon and hoped to have convenient exit strategies.
IDF officials warned that the drop in the daily number of rockets fired at Israel do not indicate Hamas is running out. While it is true that Hamas’s reservoir of projectiles has been significantly depleted, taking into account the number of rockets fired and the number of rockets and launchers destroyed by the IDF, the smaller barrages are seen in the military as a calculation by Hamas that the war can take a whole month and therefore it would need to retain its rocket-launching capabilities to the very last day. According to estimates, Hamas had 9000 rockets at the beginning of Operation Protective Edge. It has fired around 2000 and some 3000 were destroyed by Israel. It therefore still has some 4000 rockets in storage.

Israel’s Ambassador to the UN Human Rights Council has explicitly said that Israel is NOT AGAINST the residents of Gaza, which is why both Israel and the USA sends humanitarian aid to Gaza. Israel lets all this through its own checkpoints ... and works with agencies such as UNRWA. The latest amount if money that the USA designated for Gaza is handled through UNRWA
Both Israel and the USA are against Hamas and it’s terrorist operatives but not against the Palestinian civilians or helping them. Those are simply the facts for both Israel and the USA, jointly.
That’s the Palestinian Authority, and as I said earlier, the Palestinian Authority is NOT a designated terrorist organization as is Hamas (which is officially listed).
Both Israel and the USA sends money to the Palestinian Authority.
You mix up “Hamas” with “Palestinian civilians”. As the Israeli Ambassador to the UN Human Rights Council said a couple of days ago, Israel is not against the Palestinian civilians in Gaza but both the USA and Israel is against Hamas in Gaza.
They also cannot see truth, because as Jesus Himself put it:
“If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated Me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.” — John 15:18-19
Is it a coincidence that we have what is happening right now in Israel and Gaza right smack dab in the middle of “blood moon” time?
I support Israel and I support Israel’s right to the land that GOD gave her and I support Israel’s right to defend herself. I do this as a Christian who believes with St. Paul that ultimately, eventually, “all Israel will be saved” as “they look upon Me whom they pierced and mourn as for an only son” when Jesus Christ returns in His glory to reclaim planet earth from the devil and his human tools.
These are frightening times – as the establishment of a caliphate across Iraq and Syria, the shooting down of a commercial jet with nearly 300 souls BY RUSSIA through their separatist proxies, and now this.
But Jesus told us that the end would be characterized as nation arising against nation, and that the violence would come closer and closer together as birth pangs come upon a woman about to give birth.
Christians can be steadfast and immovable because we alone can know beforehand where the world is going and where WE’RE going.
The Rapture is at hand. And if you aren’t looking up you are in danger of being left behind to see the coming Antichrist and the coming Tribulation and the coming Armageddon that the Bible describes.
I pray for the Israeli soldiers, that they be safe. I pray for the safety of the Israeli people, whom God has miraculously protected just as He declared He would in the last days. And I pray for the safety of innocent Palestinians who are forced to endure misery because they allowed a terrorist state to represent them. Most of all, I pray for the salvation of people – Jew, Muslim and all other Gentiles – as the world prepares to worship the beast and take his mark in these last days.
For the record, let me give you this spoiler alert: if you read the Bible, you find that God wins. Jesus Christ will return at the end of the seven-years Great Tribulation that is coming upon the world as King of kings and as Lord of lords.

Not according to the Israeli Ambassador who stated the official position of Israel to the UN Human Rights Council and said that Israel was not against the residents in Gaza, but against Hamas and their terrorist operatives. He said that, right in the middle of all this fighting, officially, just two days ago.
That’s not the stared position of Israel, which sent its Ambassador to the UN Human Rights Council and told them that Israel is not against the Palestinians in Gaza, but against Hamas and its terrorist organization.
The Israelis are merely being PC.
Yes, as the Apostle Paul said ... ALL ISRAEL shall be saved ... and that upon the return of the Messiah of Israel, back to earth and setting up his one-world government and ruling from Jerusalem!

It’s extremely fortunate for Israel that they have discovered these “attack tunnels” because (as the government of Israel says) ... these particular tunnels are more dangerous than the rockets ... even THOUSANDS of rockets!

The circumstances in Gaza have changed in the past week, since Israel has discovered that Hamas planned a massive terror attack in myriads of southern Israeli communities, to occur on Rosh Hashanah, one of the holiest days of the Jewish calendar when many, if not most, of the men would be praying in their synagogues ... If the USA actually funded Hamas, it would definitely be illegal. But it is not illegal to fund the Palestinian Authority, and both Israel and the USA do that with the PA.
The reason why it’s illegal for the USA to fund or support Hamas is that it is officially listed in the USA as a “Foreign Terrorist Organization”. The PA is not, and both Israel and the USA have a long history of working with the PA.
Neither have ANY HISTORY of cooperation or funding or supporting Hamas in Gaza.
You’ll CONTINUE to see the funding of the Palestinian Authority by the USA and Israel, while you won’t see that at a all with Hamas in Gaza.
And just recently Egypt made a provision in the cease-fire proposals to put Abbas and the Palestinian Authority in charge of the Gaza side of the Egyptian border. Israel was okay with that provision from Egypt, as that would take Hamas away from comtrol of that border.
I’m afraid you’re way out of touch with what Israel and the USA are doing.

It is true that both Israel and the US have a long — and unfortunate — history of working with the Palestinian Authority.
It was only in late April 2014 that Hamas officially joined the Palestinian Authority to form a coalition government.
This made continued funding illegal.
