You can thank first lady Michelle Obama for those extra empty water bottles in the office recycle bin.
That's because she is getting -- and taking -- credit for a 3 percent surge in bottled water sales, all due to her “Drink Up” campaign aimed at getting Americans to shift from soda to plain water.
The International Bottled Water Association told us that the first lady cited the sales increase based on a new study from Nielsen Catalina Solutions. They said the campaign boosted sales 3 percent, and nearly $1 million.
“When the Drink Up campaign was launched last year, it had one simple goal – to get kids and families excited about drinking water,” the first lady said, according to an association release. “And today, less than a year later, we know that water sales jumped nearly three percent among people who saw Drink Up ads.”

This is seriously the first time I’ve ever heard of a ‘campaign’ to drink water... from here or anybody else.
This is the first I’ve heard about her ‘drink more’ campaign.
“Drink Up” campaign...................Yep, never heard of it.

There, fixed that. She and her retard husband have caused more people to turn to a alcohol to seek solitude than any president or “first lady” (term used loosely).

If she is taking credit for the extra bottle water sales, makes one wonder how much money she has gotten and will get from the bottled water companies, Will the campaign donations continue, when Obozo retires, and she becomes a $inator for some so called elite blue state.

I gave up drinking pop about 4 yrs ago, and as a result I drink quite a bit more water.
Moochelle had absolutely nothing to do with the decision. I simply decided I had no desire to become a fat old diabetic.
She’s reaching to the bottom for a campaign issue.
Yes! More people are drinking bottled water thanks to Michele Obama. They are using more water to rinse out the nasty taste she has left with her Marxist drive about demanding that people eat what she thinks best for them.
I use about 3 bottles a day to get rid of that taste.
Uh Moo-chelle, IT’S SUMMER! People drink more. No one has ever heard of your made up program.
