The New Republic has a longish piece on how John Kerry got the latest iteration of the Israeli-Palestinian peace process restarted and how it fell apart around him. It involved a lot of talking and self-importance on all sides. The article includes a lot of reporting on the details of conversations between John Kerry and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, and other Israeli and Palestinian officials. Among the reported conversations is this one that started about Palestinian incitement:
Kerry pressed on: "When I fought in Vietnam, I used to look at the faces of the local population and the looks they gave us. I'll never forget it. It gave me clarity that we saw the situation in completely different ways."
"This isn't Vietnam!" Netanyahu shouted. "No one understands Israel but Israel."
Kerry tried explaining himself again: "No one is saying it's Vietnam. But I've been coming here for thirty years, and I'm telling you, what's building up in the Palestinians has only gotten worse. I've seen it. It doesn't matter if it's right or wrong; it just is. It can't be solved if you can't see it how they see it."

You will note how quiet Official Russia has been about the Palestinians, this time around? Other than a few statements calling for “Peace”, nothing major at all, no UN resolutions, etc...

The Paleoswinians started this mess by kidnapping and murdering 3 Israelis Jews (one of whom was also a citizen of the US - where was the condemnation from Fagbama & Co. about THAT?!). The kidnappers/murderers were/are well known, and are being both hidden and celebrated by the Paleoswinians. They then ratcheted things up by starting to indiscriminately launching missiles at Israeli towns and cities by the hundred in response to the murder of 1 of their own by criminal Israelis (all of who were arrested and are awaiting trial, and who have been condemned in Israel and around the world by Israeli officials and Jews). Not content with that, they have hidden rockets, factories and headquarters in homes, schools, hospitals, etc., DARING Israel to attack them and ordering their own people to NOT evacuate when the Israelis give them warning of an impending attack. They WANT their own civilians to be wounded and killed, the more the merrier.
Yet Il Douchebag blames Israel. What would this moron do if his neighborhood in Boston or Georgetown was being shelled? He’ want the perpetrators to be flattened, who cares about the casualties.
Kerry is a horse-faced, imbecilic, arrogant, traitorous douchebag - and should do the world a favor and STFU.
like or appreciate being reminded of civilian Palestinian deaths..... What, or who, do you consider to be civilians? Really interested. The ones without uniforms or the ones who never took an oath to their country? Not that these heathens have a country. So what is it?
