Seven More IDF Soldiers, Officers Killed Death toll in Operation Protective Edge reaches 25

The IDF Spokesperson's Office stated Monday night that seven additional soldiers and officers have been killed in Gaza, as the fourteenth day of Operation Protective Edge draws to a close.

Their families have been notified.

Sergeant First Class Yuval Dagan, 22, from Kfar Saba, served in the Golani Brigade. Dagan's funeral will be held Monday night in the military cemetery in Kfar Saba.

Lieutenant General Dolev Keidar, "Gefen" commander, 38, from Modi'in was killed during the infiltration attempt into Israel early this morning.

Sergeant First Class Tal Yifrah, Golani Brigade, 22, from Rishon LeTzion. Yifrah was killed in clashes in Gaza early this morning. Yifrah's funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 am at the military cemetery in Rishon LeZion.

Sergeant Nadav Goldmacher, 23, from Be'er Sheva, was also killed in Monday morning's infiltration attempt.

Israel needs to make a deep trench separating borders if they are going to allow these unproductive savages to remain as neighbors. Dig. blast or turn into glass but it needs to be done. How productive they are as they demand subsistence yet do nothing but reproduce and dig tunnels to kill their neighbors. Why don’t the Arabs give them a thousand acres of land where they can pound themselves and sand. URRRRRR

I had wondered previously whether the Israelis knew the location of ALL the tunnels, based on the knowledge that WWI on both sides detected tunneling with tech at the time.

I take that back and now wonder why simple technology isn’t being used to defend a frontier from tunnel infiltration.

We’re not talking rocket science, but neither is the US applying the same on our own border...
